Something Beautiful

Hello! My name is Heather Smith. I’m a single 33 year old woman striving to live a life worthy of the calling God has placed on my life. Through the years, the Lord has taken me through some crazy things and I have learned so much by studying Scripture, going through counseling and just listening to what the Lord has taught me through it all. I grew up as a Pastor’s Kid (PK) in the church and was there from the birth of its open doors. 

I’ve seen and experienced so much in a short amount of time, but the biggest thing I’ve learned thus far is that God is Faithful, and He is Good – no matter what. 

This blog is about how we can realistically and practically take the broken things, and make them beautiful! Sometimes that’s easier said than done and a lot of times it takes awhile to get to the point where we can believe in our heart that God really is good, but once we do… our relationship with Jesus just gets sweeter.

So come along for the ride! I hope this blog will encourage you to lean into the Lord through the hard times and the good times!
